Why Hemp Foods?

Hemp foods have only recently been re-legalized and the Gourmet Hemp Foods team is proud to be first-movers. Hemp seed ingredients like cold-pressed oil, protein and shelled hemp seeds should not be confused with CBD products. All hemp seed ingredients are FDA GRAS (Generally Recommended As Safe) which means anyone can buy and consume them without fear of failing a drug test.

Shelled hemp seeds are the most delicious and versatile out all hemp ingredients. They're not only loaded with Omegas, but they're also an excellent source of protein & minerals. They're light-tasting and won't overpower any of your traditional recipes. So go ahead, make your homemade recipes into a hemp food by adding a handful of shelled seed to your soups, smoothies, sandwiches and stir frys!

We sincerely believe hemp foods are the future to healthy living, and that's why our chosen mission is to 'Awaken the World to the Benefits of Hemp.'

Innovation & Research

Every new hemp food is an innovation in itself! As we grow, we're committed to creating new and exciting food through strategic partnerships. Moreover, we're also continual unearthing Hemp's rich American past and will share and host our findings on our website.

Education

The Gourmet Hemp Foods works with like-minded organizations to further the education of hemp's past, benefits and future potential. We began our education campaign in the halls of Virginia's General Assembly advocating for Virginia hemp farmers and entrepreneurs. Once hemp became legal, we've worked alongside Virginia State University, a HBCU in Petersburg, VA, to host three successful 'Hemp Field Days.'

We're excited to do much more in the future - please reach out if you're also interested in educating others about the benefits of hemp.

Progress

We're serious about progressing the hemp movement across the country and the world. Every new product and educational campaign is geared to accomplish our mission of 'Awakening the World to the Benefits of Hemp.'

Giving Back

Working alongside community partners to give back to worthy causes is one of our passions. Moreover, our hemp products are perfect for catered fundraising events. If you're a non-profit that wants to offer a hemp-themed menu please reach out and we'll be happy to work with you!
